Reader Teacher Tutoring Service was initially established in 1994 as "The Reading Clinic" by Reading Specialists in Broward County, Florida. We currently provide virtual help to elementary students who are reading below grade level in grades first through fifth.

The Reading Specialists have a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education, Masters Degree in Computer Education, Library Science, and Reading. Our remediation strategies were implemented and proven at the County Reading Center for many years in South Florida. Thousands of students achieved success when they were bused to the center for individualized instruction. Reader Teacher Tutors continue to implement the same 

"Back to Basics" instruction to ensure proven success.  Students receive a "Daily Prescription", which is individualized lessons prescribed for success.  The following is prescribed each week: 

  • Tutoring sessions provided virtually once per week by Reading Specialists. 

  • Unlimited access to daily Reading Lessons which meet the Common Core Standards

  • Monitoring and personalized adjustment of lessons

  • After-school skill building and reinforcement

  • Individualized instruction in phonics, vocabulary, and comprehension skills

  • Variety of prizes and incentives mailed to students to motivate and keep learning fun!

   Sssshhh!  Quiet Please!

It is very important for parents to provide a quiet area to help with focus and concentration while completing the lessons.  Virtual tutoring is very convenient and allows children to receive instructions and  complete assignments in the safety of their own home.
